History of Express Mortgage Express Mortgage is a branch of Mortgage Express which was formed in November 1995 by a management team from diverse backgrounds in the industry. Doing the "tough" loans has always been the foundation of this company, however, over the years MEI has also become known as the lender of choice to deliver the best interest rates. Mortgage Express has grown in the past 10 years to become the largest independent mortgage broker in the State of Nebraska. We are currently licensed in 24 states and have 7 branches with a total of 70 employees. Express Mortgage opened in Hot Springs in November, 2003. This branch offers the full services of the parent company for residential lending and has added commercial capabilities nationwide.
